You can go to Sears Hardware,Home Depot,Lowes,
Lumber Yard, any place with grade 5 or grade 8 bolts

If they happen to be Metric, they have them also

Surely you have some similar thread bolts, you could try,
and when you get the thread size, you can figure out how
long you need them

Any Auto Parts Store, can take a water pump of the shelf
& try all the bolts they have, there

They just got rid of you. You have to learn the in's & out's
of the auto repair business & how to talk to them

SOURCE: on 98 intrigue water pump removal how do i clear the ps pully

Im not sure what engine you have since this information was not provided. But the Power Steering Pump pulley usually has some 'holes' on the pulley in which you can get a wrench through to loosen and remove the bolt.

I'm not so certain you need to take that pulley off to get the water pump off. All the bolts should be accessible. Aren't there holes in the pulley that line up with any hidden bolts in behind? GM is well known for doing that. Rotate the pulley until you can sneak a socket through the pulley hole and get onto the bolts you need. (Unless this is a different design).

you can pry the engine over.. there will be just enough clearance to get
it passed the frame... just be carefull when prying it over not to slip cause you'll break the water pump on installation if the engine rocks back.

The pully on the powersteering pump has moved out a little enough to where the belt is not lineing up how can i push it back in without takeing the pump off the car,and if i can out a bolt in the center...

You could try tapping it back into place with the side of a hammer or something similar. If you are going to attempt to put a bolt in there, it's probably 3/8 s or so, maybe even metric, and you'll likely need a big washer to hold it in. I think i would go to an auto wrecker or parts store so i could get a good look at one before I fooled aroung with that. At least you could get the right size and length.

Need to replace water pump on a1997 chevy lumina 3.1L V6 need insructions

3.1L And 3.4L (VIN E) Engines
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Partially drain the cooling system into a suitable container.
  3. Remove the drive belt guard.
  4. Loosen the water pump pulley bolts before removing the drive belt. This should help keep the pulley from turning as the bolts are loosened.
  5. Remove the drive belt. Please see Section 1.
  6. Remove the water pump pulley bolts and remove the pulley.
  7. Remove the water pump bolts and separate the pump from the engine front cover.
To install:

  1. Clean all parts well. Use care when scraping gasket material from the front cover and the pump. Do not gouge aluminum parts. Clean the bolt threads well. The torque specification is low and if the bolt threads are dirty, an accurate torque is not possible and leaks are likely to develop.
  2. Using a new gasket, install the water pump to the front cover. Install the cleaned and lightly lubricated water pump bolts. Torque to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
  3. Install the water pump pulley and bolts and torque to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
  4. Install the remaining components in the reverse order of the removal process. When refilling the cooling system, use the proper mix of DEX-COOL® and water. Check for leaks.

I need to replace my serpentine belt..how do i do

Yes you can replace it yourself. Go to the nearest autozone autoparts store that loans tools and assistance for free. Some other auto parts stores do this too so call around.

As long as you purchase the part from them they will assist you with the loan of tools and know how.

1990 cadillac deville need help water pump removal???

Water pump is located on the side with all the belts. Find the water pump pully and LOOSEN the bolts that keep the pully on the shaft of the water pump. Once they are LOOSEN remove the belt. Then you can remove the pully bolts the rest of the way. Pully MIGHT be stuck on there, a couple of taps should loosen it enough to where you can pop it off by hand. Now if I recall this vechile correctly, there MIGHT be another pully that will hinder you. It's just easier to take it off right away. It's right above the water pump. I BELIVE it's an idler pully. Dosn't do anything but to help keep the belt on it's correct path. There should be one bolt in the middle of this pully, undo the bolt and pully will pop off. Make sure you REMEMBER how it was on. So that you put it back on the right way. Then, there are 2 or 3 different sized bolts that keep the water pump on. Remove the bolts, one at a time, and make sure you REMEMBER where they went. If you remember now, it will save time guessing later. Ok, once you are sure that ALL the bolts are removed, you can try to pop off the pump. If it dosn't come by hand, use a screw driver to pry a corner up and then do the rest by hand. Once it's off, it's time to clean the motor side of the pump. See, on these cars it's not a complete pump like it use to be, it's a half pump. Meaning, when you look at one side you can see the fins that move the water. Anyways, when you are at the parts store, pick up some emery cloth. It's sort of like sand paper. Well, once the pump is off, use a razor blade and scrape off the silcone that's on the block. Then use the emery cloth to make is nice and clean getting all of it off. Once that's complete, put the new gasket on the pump and reinstall. Put all the bolts in BEFORE tighting them down. And when you do tighten them, do it by hand! Using an air tool will break the bolt or strip the threads in the alunimium block and then it has to go to a mechanic. Once all the bolts are tight fill up the reservor to check for leaks. Also go back over the bolts one more time and make sure all are tight. Doing this now, will save you headace later. Then put the rest of the things back on in the order you took them off. That's it exepct for bleeding the cooling system. I assume you know how to do this, if not, let me know.
