The power windows and door locks are controlled from a central module called the body control module in most makes. This module is really a computer and it can be scanned for codes and it will run an active test of its functions with the proper test equipment attached, I suggest you have the testing done by the dealer before any repairs are done, the part is horribly expensive.

Was the original windscreen a heated windscreen?? If so, has the wire that feeds this been trapped causing a short which is blowing a fuse which also feeds the dead items?? Maybe theres an inline fuse for these items located in the kick panel. If it was fitted professionally, I`d have a word with them, they should sort it out, they caused the problem, not you. Ian
