These code # can be found easily on the internet.giving you an idea of the issues. the misfiring of the cylinders could very well be a timing issue and the codes indicate a Air to Fuel issue,perhaps explaining the misfires.

it is always a good idea to stay with o.e.m parts and yes there is updated parts in the newer coils. and yes the M.A.F will also cause misfire faults but will not make check engine light flash or make car shake and shudder. also check you wire harness going to your coils make sure your ground wires are not cracked. Hello I need a help.
I have 1999 lincoln town car 4.6L V8.They have check engine light on. P 0303 cylinder 3 missfire.
I was changed spark plugs,fuel filter. check compression test 150psi. fuel pressuer 50.
swiching cylinder 1 to 3 fuel injector and coil. but they still have engine code

I have changed a few cylinder heads under warranty for this type of problem. The exhaust valve guides wear, this causes the exhaust valve to seat badly, giving low compression. if one cylinder compresion reading is more than about 50 psi below the others, then this warrants head removal. It is quite a job, due to the fact that the camshft id chain driven. If you are up for it then once the head is removed, poor liquid into the exhaust ports and see if it leaks out through any of the exhaust valves.
