Key won't turn, won't shift from Park
My 2003 Saturn l200 2.2 ecotec did this when the battery was dead. Put some juice on the battery, then the car came out of park, and I was able to remove the key. To the car, there's a vast difference between a sluggish battery and a dead battery. It may have enough amps to crank it, but it wont start w/out full output from the battery.
Shift Lever slips
In Park, it's Parked, but key won't turn past ACC
No, there was no solution here, nor any other Hyundai forum, neither the Hyundai website or the Manual. I figured it out myself.
I removed the Shift Lever handle (2 screws in the back), pulled off the handle, then the tube and saw that the black arrows-shaped stick could be turned a few times to make it tighter. Then I put everything back, making sure the button was secure and wouldn't pop out.
Walah!
