I need to be refered to an A/C shop that carries a R- 12 system
SOURCE: leaking coolant from rear heater core in my astro van
you can hook the two line together that will fix your problem with no problems
SOURCE: I need to replace the heater core
Your heater core is behind a cover on the heater box under dash on right side of truck next to the blower motor,( blower motor does not have to come out) you need to remove 6 or 7 1/4" screws that hold on that cover, the core is behind that, now there is 1 screw thats a bear to get to because you can't see it, its on the far right on top, it might be easer to take the glove box door off, no big thing, once the cover is off there will be 2 straps with screws that hold the core in just remove them and core will come out of the main heater box.
SOURCE: rear heater core line leaking, can I fix w/ rubber
yeah hose and clamps are the cheap easy way to go there, or if your lucky, the leak is right at the spot where the hose meets the metal and you can just cut the end off and put it back with the old clamp
