Recently I had a issue in which my cigarette lighter fuse on my 2011 Volkswagen Jetta burnt out. After speaking to two dealerships I found out that the fuse that needed to be replaced is a "blue 15" fuse and (#30 on the fuse panel). Note to self: Best recommendation is to bring a flashlight and magnify glass when looking for the #'s on the fuse panel. if you don't have a #15 then use a #10(rule of thumb is if you must substitute go lower than the voltage required). Hope this helps!

Check out #19 OR check out #8. The fuse should be a BLUE 15a fuse. They are located in FUSE BOX B under the hood on the driver's side. For some reason VW varied the fuse locations from car to car and year to year. None of the fuse panel fuse locations match what your manual says. So there may or may not be any fuses in slots #8 or #19. Either way, you're looking for a blue 15amp fuse - so check all of the blue ones to see if any are blown.
