I have a 2003 mitsubishi spyder. The floor got really soaked for unknown reasons and my stereo stopped working. We have checked the fuses. The power comes on but no sound
I have a 2001 spyder eclipse and the passenger side floor is completely soaked and my radio does not have any sound either. I suspect my back window might have something to do with the water leak. Also, i know there is an amplifier under the passenger seat, which may have water damage. anyone want to buy a car????I have a 2001 spyder eclipse and the passenger side floor is completely soaked and my radio does not have any sound either. ricky, the problem with water from the a/c is the drain that is draining back into the vehicle from the drain outside. You need a tar like material that you can form in your hands and work it around the drain under the hood. You will have to shove your arm9 passenger side)near the windshield at the firewall and go down till you feel the drain plug and work the tar gasket around the outside of the drain this should stop the leak on the floorboard.I had tryed all kinds of things to stop it from leaking on the floorboard (blew air from a air compressor) to clean the line but that did not work, but the gasket material (tar) worked, good luckricky, the problem with water from the a/c is the drain that is draining back into the vehicle from the drain outside. You need a tar like material that you can form in your hands and work it around the drain under the hood. You will have to shove your arm9 passenger side)near the windshield at the firewall and go down till you feel the drain plug and work the tar gasket around the outside of the drain this should stop the leak on the floorboard.I had tryed all kinds of things to stop it from leaking on the floorboard (blew air from a air compressor) to clean the line but that did not work, but the gasket material (tar) worked, good luck

The two relays for the front [main] wipers are part of the front ECU [engine computer] and are not serviceable separately. The front wipers are powered by a 10 amp [#22 in the relay box] battery hot fuse and a 20 amp [#18 in the junction box] & two 7.5 amp [#20 & #23 in the junction box] ignition hot fuses. The front ECU is located under the hood. It sits on top of the driver's inner fender well.
In many cases, a blown fuse is the reason a horn does not work. Locate your fuse box. The specific location can be found inside your owner's manual. Inside of the fuse panel, you will find a diagram of the fuses. One of the fuses will say Horn. I recommend changing the fuse. If you do not know a lot about changing fuses, a auto parts store should be able to help you out. Hope this helps!
I've been messing with the stereo and took the seats out to check the amp. I don't think I disconnected the negative cable on the battery and now the windows won't do anything and the top won't go up or down. What did I screw up?
I had this problem not long ago. In the trunk on the right side (facing the trunk) there is a manual switch for the top. My son changed my tailights and accidentally switched it to manual. I switched it back to automatic and have not had probs since.
