  1. Drain the coolant to a level below the thermostat housing.
  2. On some vehicles, access is easier if the front-end beauty panel and the air cleaner are removed.
  3. Remove the 2 bolts securing the thermostat housing to the intake manifold.
  4. Remove the thermostat housing.
  5. Remove the thermostat and O-ring from the housing.

  1. Install the thermostat and new O-ring to the housing.
  2. Install the thermostat housing to the intake manifold. Tighten the thermostat housing bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
  3. Refill the cooling system using a 50/50 mixture of water and ethylene glycol antifreeze.
  4. Install the air cleaner and beauty panel, if removed.
  5. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks. Allow the engine to come to normal operating temperature. Recheck for coolant leaks.

Not exactly sure, but I might be able to point you in the right direction: Haynes or Chilton's repair manual located at your local library for free check out otherwise around $20 bucks at the auto parts store - great reference to have around.. Alternatively you could GO TO (not call) the parts department at your local dealer, they can pull up a photo or schemata and help you with exact info.

I have 91 cadillac seville that keeps overheating

have you changed the thermostat, check the rad cooling fan operation, checked coolant circulation, check for coolant leak, checked for head gasket problem, checked for a restriction in the cooling system. you don`t say what if anything you have done to eliminate a cause.

Power steering pump 1991 Seville

Drain pump.Remove pulley off with removal tool. Remove pump from vehicle. Replace with new pump. Replace pulley with pulley tool.Add PS fluid. Videos available online to show how to do for free. Auto stores with loaner tool programs for free with deposit. Cost myself $100 to do myself compared to $400 shop wanted.

1991 cadillac seville will not start

first disconnect the battery and wait ten minutes this will dis able the battery. then get a manual there are several small parts that need to go in a certain way. and for the guy that his car starts then dies sounds like your exhaust system is plugged, simple test disconnect the exhaust just before the catalytic converter and start the engine see it still dies. and the problem isn't even close to the same
