When that happens to me, I call the Auto Club. They have special tools that can reach inside to unlock the door even with a dead battery. You can also try a locksmith, they will be able to pick the door lock.
I locked the keys in the trunk, parked at the Devil's Postpile Monument outside Mammoth, California. It took the locksmith an hour to get to me, and 15 seconds for him to pick the lock.

there are only 3 ways
1: lock smith picks lock.
2: you give him key num, and he cuts one with special tool.
3: break window (slim fails)
4: get one at dealer. they look it up and bingo.
5: drill out lock , and buy new lock.

youmight be able to get in from the back seat 1. remove bottom seat first then remove back you should be able to get to the Trunk

call your dealership ,give them your vin number ,they will make a duplicate for you

you could ask a policeman to open it for you, they carry a tool called a slimjim amd most of the time dont mind helping at all, but if that dont work, iwould try using a cothes hanger, no luck there. call locksmith. cost maybe around 100.bucks,i had the same problem with my son, I got another key made after the 3rd time.my advise dont wait for 2nd time hope this was some help

sounds like the brake pedal lock out switch or the gear selector switch is out of adjustment.

the metal rod came off the inside. You need to come in from top with a slim jim to open and then work on the door by taking panel off. Get a locksmith or call the local dealer and ask who is there SAAB roadside assistance. Also Cadillac dealers have a roadside service.

use a test light the wire from the battery should be hot all the time the wire that goes to the solenoid should be hot when the key is turned over to start and the wire going to the coil should be hot when the key is in run.
