How do i reprogram my02 ford focus remote locking key fob please.

    Dash Boot release on 58 ford fiesta not working also the key remote wont work also.

Get in your car close door hit the unlock button then put key in the ignition cycle the key from off to on (STOP BEFORE START POSITION) cycle key off to on 7 times after the 7th trime the doors should lock the unlock automatically that means u are in trainning mode hit the unlock button on key fob. the key fob should now work if it doesn't then try changing batt

Hi my central locking will not open or close from my key fob
Check with your Ford garage if its a fob that contains a miniature battery that has died on you.

The central locking on my ford focus has stopped working, i have changed the battery in the key fob but no luck, can you help. graham.
Obtain all keys fitted with remote control. Fasten seat belts and close all doors. Turn ignition switch from position I to position II 4 times within 6 seconds. Switch ignition OFF. Programming mode activated for 10 seconds proceed as follows: Press and hold lock, unlock or boot release button Fig. 1 [1], [2] or [3]. Wait for acoustic signal (indicates correct programming). Repeat above procedure within 10 seconds to program remaining keys. To exit programming mode: Turn ignition switch to position III or wait 10 seconds. Keys can also be programmed using diagnostic equipment.
NOTE: A maximum of 4 keys can be programmed.

the key fob sounds like it might be sending a signal sometimes so take the battery out and see if there is any change.joe
