Do you mean no spark from the coil or distributor? Because the coil needs battery voltage to it to operate.
If you have no spark from the coil wire and you believe the wire is good or you have no reason to suspect it failing in a very short time, then before you do anything else, you should check if the small, pink wire to the little + side of the coil is a live wire (has current or voltage, and the connection is clean and tight) when the key is in on position. If no power there, the ignition switch or the wiring from the switch to the coil is bad.
If you have power to the coil, then either the coil or the electronic ignition module (inside the distributor, I think) may be bad. They can both be tested. Auto parts stores will test the ignition module for free. There are other possibilities for no spark, like a computer fault, or a bad pick-up coil, or a wiring or grounding fault, but for starters test the coil or swap in a known good one. If not the coil, check the ignition module next.
Good luck. Don't see many of those cars on the road anymore. Hope you keep it running.

Have '82 1/2 ton - new coil, wires, plugs, cap, rotor - no spark . Good battery. Good crank, no spark. Occasional backfire thru carb when shut down. Advice?

No spark is no spark - did you check that at the coil? If OK, bad coil to distributer wire or connectors, problem with cap/rotor, wrong plug connections (firing order), timing way out of spec, etc.

How to fit a morris minor distributer

Hi The distributer should have an offset drive so it can only go back in the same way it came out,
As to no spark:
Check the contact points
Condenser
Tiny earth wire from breaker plate to distributer body.
Coil
Ignition supply and ballast resister.

Morris cars originally had a positive earth system on the battery if you change to negative earth you must check the coil connection the Neg - terminal on the coil goes to the distributer and the Pos+
is ignition supply

The 1992 Caprice I'm working on has no Spark to the Coil I've changed the coil and the electronic spark control module. What else besides the Fuel pump or something else could cause the problem of no start...

You say no spark to the coil. does that mean that you have checked the power to the coil & getting none or are you getting no spark from the coil to the distributer cap? If you have no spark that is most likely the problem of not starting but you can always just check your fuel pressure to see.

No spark to the plugs

do you have spark at the coil lead or not?
if spark at coil it could be pionts or rotor button or distributer cap.

Cant get any spark

You're not getting spark out of the ignition coil? Do you have power to the coil? What about ground? If you have spark from the coil to the distributer, but nothing coming out of the distributer, then check your cap and rotor.
