Instructions
1
Shut off the engine of your Bravada, remove the keys from the ignition, and open the hood.
2
Locate the plug that powers the outdoor sensor. You will find it in between the front bumper and frame of the car, just to the right of the rightmost support bracket. The sensor plug is green.
3
Unplug the outdoor temperature sensor by separating the plug from its socket.
4
Plug the sensor back in, close the hood, and start the car. If the sensor's performance has not changed, it will need to be replaced.

SOURCE: Air temperature readout stuck at 50

It does sound like a sensor problem. Not sure where the sensor its self is, but they are usually by the drivers side mirror, or underneath the windsheild valance. They need to be placed in a area where wind wont give false readings due to wind chill factors. Any dealership should be able to tell you. good luck. John...

the problem is your outside air temp sensor located on the front left corner of the radiator at the top. the sensor can be bought at your local parts store (napa, car quest, auto zone) for approx 8-10 bucks. 5 min replacement.

Stalling

Engine may stall with the air-conditioner on and or while adding additional loads to the engine at idle. An example of an addition load would be turning the steering wheel left or right with the air-conditioning on. This type of stall usually occurs during idle or slow parking lot maneuvers. This concern may not set any diagnostic trouble codes.

Clean the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate using a clean shop towel with GM top engine cleaner, GM P/N 1052626 (Canadian P/N 993026) or AC-Delco Carburetor Tune-Up Conditioner, P/N X66-P, or an equivalent product.
