my headlights won't go off and it does not work to use the switch as it appears to be stuck....the switch is warm to the touch. Is the noise actually coming from the switch area or coming from under the dash area? Possible daytime running light /twilight sentinal modual shorted out causing your issue. Unplug this module and if the headlights go out, this will be your problem
On a 1990 Buick you have a fuseable link between the headlight switch and the battery. Do you have power in and out of the headlight switch and the dimmer switch ?
intermidiate switch's are faulty in most LeSabres, it controls all your settings where as your day time running light modual only puts low voltage to your headlights, thats all. i had similar issues in my camaro, replaced the switch and all is better now.
Dude, I think Park Ave has this problem i general. I suggest chang your steering wheel position to all the way up and see. or play with it. I had the same prob, and this solution solved it.
headlights go on and off by there self with the light switch off.
