I had this problem in my pontiac grand prix. it was the dual zone door actuator.( I can't remember if that was the technical name) basically there is a door underneath and behind the dash, depending on how much cold or hot air you want there is an actuator that opens or closes the door.

SOURCE: engine 1 fuse keeps blowing when you turn the key

sounds as if you have a power shortage in the van. first establish what fuse keeps blowing this will help in narrowing down the short.once short is located check all connections ,wires, and plugs.

I would look closely for a pinched wire around where you did the repair, it may be in a wire loom, so look closely.

SOURCE: i have a 1990 Chevrolet C2500 Pickup. It keeps

if it is the ecm b fuse thats blowing i would try disconnecting your oil sending unit and see if it still blows the fuse.i have seen the sending unit short out internally before and blow the fuse.if it is the ecm 1 fuse it is either a chaffed wire or one of your injectors shorted.

2003 chevy silverado injector 2 fuse blows when ignition is turned on

You ohmed them but did you check them for continuity to GROUND, to find out if one of them is grounded out ! They normally ground to ecm/pcm not to eng. so check them for short to grd with wire harness unplugged from all injectors and check 1 at a time, If they all show open...no ground then check your power should be pink for chafing or bare short to ground. this will be on Bank 2 you are checking which is the Head that setsfarthest back to firewall. Bank 1 is Head farthest to front towards Radiator.

I have a 98 1500 silverado . I was driving home this weekend and came up upon a hill and my truck completely shut off , lost all power . Found my ecm-1 fuse was blown . It blow everytime I go to turn my...

Well you have a short and still have to narrow it down.
How difficult that is depends on what attaches to that fuse.
If it is just the ecm, then disconnect that and see if the fuse still blows?
(if you want to stop wasting fuses, you can just use a test light in its place.
If you have a short, the 12 volt light will be bright. If things are normal, then the 12 volt light will be dim because in series it will only be getting 6 volts.)
If removing the ecm stops the fuses from blowing, then take it in and have it tested.

Trouble starting doesnt seem to want to fire

Check the fuses, I had one a while ago that kept blowing one of the ECM fuses. There are 2 ECM fuses one also sends power to the fuel pump too. Do you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the ignition switch to on? Just turn the key to the "on" position, not all the way to start, you should be able to hear the fuel pump run for about 3-5 seconds. I think it takes a 15 amp, I showed the owner which fuse it was and it would blow occasionally. One day it blew one right after another so he put a 30 amp in, he was out of 15's. I told him that was not a good idea. Anyway, that fixed it he drove it home and put a 15 amp fuse back in it, it's been good ever since.

No power to fuel pump and the ecmb fuse bows as soon as i put it

Unplug all wires to the distributor, coil, fuel pum and injectors, then see if the fuse blows, if it does, sounds like an ECM failure.

97 chvy 5.0 -ECM B fuse blows - Wont Start - Replaced ALL parts

that red wire is a test lead to jumper the fuel pump to test it.if ecmb fuse keeps blowing my guess is your ecm has a short in it,in that case it can be purchased at oreillys
