SOURCE: 99 CAVALIER HORN RELAY LOCATION

If your horn isn't working and it isn't the horn itself the next thing to check is the horn wire in the steering wheel under the air bag. The little clip breaks off in time and the horn wire pops out. To repair you can remove the wheel and replace the part but I usually grind in a new notch in the old plastic and re attach the wire and it will work again.
Test the horn itself first. Just remove the connection to the horn and attach 2 wires to a live battery and tough the 2 sides of the contacts on the horn. If it blows the horn is good. If not replace the horn before you go any further.

SOURCE: horn location for a 1990 jeep cherokee

Hi RS,

The horn on my 86 Cherokee is inside the grill, in front of and to the right of the radiator. I don't imagine they've moved them too far from there in four years.

If you're trying to locate it for reasons other than it not working, I'd say have someone sound the horn while you stand in front of the car. That should pin point it.

Best regards

Mike

SOURCE: 2004 SILVERADO HORN DOES NOT WORK RELAY GOOD CANT

First make sure and check the horn fuse.If this is good then go to the front of the vehicle and on the front left and front right of the radiator support frame there is a horn on each side. You should be able to get to them from under the vehicle. You might have to jack it up.Below the headlamp assembly area. The green wire is the power to the horn.Should have power when you depress the horn pad.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Location of horn relay

I found this info for horn relay.
If more than one relay, hopefully you can see wiring colors at relay, then look at horn relay wiring diagram and match the wire colors to the
relay.
I'd check applicable fuses first. Any electrical circuit needs voltage and ground.

Chevy silverado where is the horn relay

It depends if it is a classic or new style Silverado. Both were made in 2007. If it is a classic Silveradothere is a replaceable relay in the under hood fuse block. If it is a new style Silverado the horn relay is part of the printed circuit board that is only available with UBEC (under hood bussed electrical center).

Horn is not working on my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. Also, when I set the alarm, the "beep" doesn't work. I'm assuming it's also the horn that makes the beep. Fuses are ok, replaced horn, tested...

There are a couple of relay locations. There is one in the engine compartment located on the left inner fender. You will have to remove a cover to see the fuses and relays. I believe there is another panel with some relays inside the cab on the firewall behind the foot pedals on the left. Again you will have to remove a cover to see them. Not sure where the horn relay is located. If you still have your owners manual it should identify all of the fuses and relays. They are easy to replace, you just pull them out like a fuse and put a new one in. Use a test light if you have one to see if you have voltage at the horn when the horn button is pushed and check any grounds your horn might have. If you have voltage at the horn maybe the new horn is bad also. That can happen.

FUEL PUMP FOR CHEVY SILVERADO

fuel filter? how about power to the fuel pump, loose ground wire to chasis? wiring harness? terminals clean at point of connection?did you check the fuel pump relay? Relay is located in electrical center under the hood on the driver side.relay and fuse legend will be on bottom side of cover, you sould be able to switch with another relay that you know works, ie: switch horn relay with fuel pump relay, honk horn to insure both relays are working when either relay is inserted into horn slot. Do you by chance have the electrical schematic drawing for the fuel pump?
