Inspect/Test/Service/Replace
Follow service manual procedures given by the manufacturer for the generator you are working on for disassembling, inspecting, testing, and rebuilding AC generators. Remember, improper connections to an AC generator can destroy it. CAUTION CAUTION
AC generator removal varies according to the engine size, engine placement, and vehicle accessories (such as power steering and air conditioning). The following is the typical procedure for removal and replacement of the AC generator.
Never attempt to remove the alternator or disconnect any wires to the alternator without first disconnecting the battery negative cable. It's a good practice to wrap the cable with tape or insert the cable inside a rubber hose to prevent accidental contact with the battery terminal.Always wear safety glasses when working around the battery.
To reinstall the alternator, reverse the removal procedure.
To adjust the belt tension, leave the pivot and adjusting arms loose. Look up the belt tension specification for the vehicle you are working on. Using a belt tension gauge on the belt apply pressure to the alternator until the correct belt tension registers on the gauge and tighten the mounting and adjustment bolts to the specified torque specification.
Over tightening of the alternator drive belt will cause the unit to whine and premature failure of the alternator drive end bearing, the water pump or the engine crankshaft

This Link is for R&R rad fan assy, but once your there, the rad should be pretty obvious, what else needs to be done. Fan has to come off first anyway.

It would appear that the relay is located on the cross rail that runs across the front of the vehicle (in front of the radiator). I found out that it is riveted in place by a single rivet, so in order to replace mine, I will have to remove the rivet and use a self-tapping screw to secure a new one.
The fan relay is located in the fuse panel located under the hood beside the battery. It will be marked under the lid. Make sure you check the maxi fuse for the fan also.

1) disconnect battery cables and push them out of the way
2) underneath the van unbolt (13mm) large cable assembly from starter
3) push red clip forward on small starter connection and push in on clip to remove (sometimes these clips are a pain to get to release)
4) still underneath the van locate and remove bottom starter bolt (15mm) - the bolt is on the transmission side of the engine near the front motor mount bracket, the large wire assembly in front of the transmission sometimes hides it)
5) now you can work up top of the engine - located a stud above where you removed the bottom starter bolt. It will have two wires attached to it. I think the bolt size is a 13mm. Remove the two wires.
6) This stud is really a long starter bolt. If follow the stud to the engine block you will discover it has a 15mm nut on it. You will need a deep 15mm socket and extension to get this bolt out. Mine was really tight! I ended up removing the battery tray and loosening the coolant tank to get enough leverage.
7) Now you can go underneath and pull the starter towards the passenger side. I had to move a few wires to the side and tilt it to snake it out.
8) Installation is just a reversal of removal.

The fuse box is located under the hood. There is component map printed on the inside of the cover. This tells you on your model where the fuse or relay is located
