Oil leaking between trans and engine
SOURCE: I have a few questions.
First things first - your rear main seal is worth replacing if you plan on keeping your rig. (Sounds like your friend doesn't want to get roped into doing the work) Rear mains wear for all kinds of reasons - something as simple as using cheap oil. Your exhaust leak you're going to need to get under with gloves and feel pipe(s) at flanges etc... if you don't feel up to it, have a good muffler shop look at it. Lastly, you have a rear trans seal leaking which is blowing trans fluid back on driveshaft. It's another job you might have a shop do.
