Check all the door switches. See if they are ok. If they are ok it could be the PCM and that is the computer that controls the interior electronics. IT is not cheap.
Check with your local Dodge dealer. They had a recall early on for the cluster in the dash. The interior lights power comes through there. They do fail and it may be a warranty deal, If it qualifies. I have seen this happen and the cluster ( speedometer) took care of the problem.
Your interior lights fuse might be blown. Check the fusebox, which usually has a diagram of which fuse is for what, and replace the fuse, if necessary. If no diagran on fusebox, the owner's manual will definitely tell you which fuse is which.
inside the fuse panel by the drivers door in the dash, there are like 2 or 3 fuses you will see that have like a yellow plastic fuse puller built into them (as least thats how it appears) anyway one of those fuses are for the interior lights!! at least thats how it was in my 2003 durango when the interior lights wouldn't come on!!!
take it to a dealer. you need a CCN (cabin compartment node) also known as a instrument cluster, it controls you dome lights. good news they had a recall on the durangos for this problem and even if the recall was done it should still be covered assuming im right about the cause... (i work at a dodge dealer and i have seen it a few times)
