Look for restrictions in the intake air and exhaust systems. Check fuel pressure and delivery (fuel filter/pump). Check the ignition system as well. If the engine has a lot of miles, you may be experiencing combustion seal wear. These are amazing engines when they work correctly! Good luck!

The steering play adjustment is tricky. Get a shop that does MAZDA and have them adjust it for you.

Waht do you mean is damaged the axle its self or just the inside gears(Ring and Pinion) are bad>If its the insides then yes the ring and pinion will inner change.Just be sure to use the assembly,pinion,ring gear,spider gears and all shims..

try autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you
