Abs light on means some fault codes stored in your car,
toyota it2 can help you clear the code and turn off the light with airbag.

SOURCE: my 98 toyota avalon dashboard light sensor is on.

Pull the rear bulbs out an inspect them for dark marks on the glass or abnormalities in the filament.
A bulb that works but is on the verge of failing will trigger the indicator on the dash as well.
Failing that, the lamp failure module is very common to fail, triggering the light as well. You can pry the box lid off and usually see burn marks on the circuit board when this happens.
The lamp failure module is located behind the left rear tire area in the trunk.

SOURCE: 1999 toyota avalon horn works intermitely

I would suggest to you to have the spiral cable (or 'clockspring') replaced. This is the electrical unit that transfers power to the air bag, the horn and the cruise control.

It is located right under the seering wheel.

Your description of the issue indicates to me that your spiral cable is loose, and making intermittant contact. If the vehicle had an air-bag deployment, this cable-device should have been changed.

The ABS light on my 2002 Toyota Avalon is on,speedometer's not working & the transmission shifts poorly. Our mechanic said it needs an ABS control module. Would the ABS module cause those symptoms?

I would have a scanner hooked up and look at the signal from the Vehicle speed sensor before replacing the outrageously expensive ABS unit.

TOYOTA AVALON 1995

Believe it or not. The alternator can cause these problems to manifest as well. Do you have good braking? If you seem to have good braking then I'd go to an Autozone and have them place a battery tester on your car. A low alternator output can cause problems in ABS systems.

How can I tell if a 96 Toyota Avalon XL has ABS

Easiest way is turn ignition switch on to run position do not start. Warning lights will light up on dash panel. There will be a orange light that comes on, if it has abs. Part of the self test diagnostics of abs system relates to this light coming on. If orange light goes on you have at least rear wheel abs. If you see wires coming out of the center of the back of each front wheel you have 4 wheel abs.

ABS light on!

Its possible you damaged a rear wheel speed sensor when you did the strut job. If the wire was pulled tight when the strut was removed it could have pulled the copper strands in the wire from the sensor causing a open circuit. This is not uncommon. You need to have the ABS system scanned for codes and see which rear wheel sensor is effected. If you were to just clear the code it will just come back on. With the ABS light on, the ABS system is deactivated and the brake system works normally as a car without ABS.

ABS light is on and Track-Off light is blinking

"ABS light came on and Track-off light started blinking"
This happened after I replaced the rear struts (shock absorbers") It turned out to be the left rear wheel sensor ($156.75). I must have damaged it when I replaced the strut. The way to check the 'rear' sensors is to remove the back seat to gain access to each sensor plug (2 prongs). Unplug it and check for continuity. If there is no continuity then you have a bad sensor, or an unlikely break in one of the wires. I checked for a break in each wire but they were fine.
