My 95 Chrysler Concord heater is acting up. It turns on when the car starts and continually runs while the car is on it won't allow me to adjust the temp the actual heating unit won't display/light up it just blows hot air out of the defroster on the front windshield. How can I fix this problem.

The controller is probably bad so it goes into failsafe mode. There are companies that repair elevtronic heater control modules online.

My girlfriend's 95 concorde was having a problem that sounds like that. Some times when she started the car, the heater control console would not turn on but the heater would turn on full blast. I fixed it by replacing the control console with one that i picked up from the junk yard. Hope this helps you

did you check the fluid level by removing the rad. cap? Radiator should be full to top. If Chryslers are low on coolant, the heater will not blow warm air.

Your blend door actuator may have packed up. My manual says you have dual controls--true? If yes, is it cold on both sides?

Remove the silencer from beneath the driver side end of the instrument panel and take a look at the actuators. #4 and #6 are for the blend doors. Can you see if the little axle is rotating when you change the temp setting? If you can't tell, take one off and see if you can rotate the door by hand and get warm air to come out. If not, perhaps you have air in the cooling system. Check your coolant level and refill if needed. Then let's have a discussion about where your coolant may be leaking. OK?

Changed water pump now 1998 chrysler concord 3.2 won't start

if the water pump was a internal water pump it runs off timing belt. timing may be out. This happens alot and it dosent have to be out much to keep it from starting. This could be the problem if it is a internal pump and happens alot. I have fix alot of cars with this problem.

On a 95 chrysler concord the tranny will not up.

Not really, there is a high and low solenoid on the side of the transmission, sometimes they become loose and disconnect.
