A/C Heater problems

This car has the driver and passenger tempeturer control for the heater and A/C. The passangers control works in either mode but the drivers only works when the A/C is on, when the heat is on it wil only blow cold air even when set to full hot. The heat only works on the passenger side from the dash vents, but cold from the driver side dash vents, defrost, and floor postions.

The main issue with this is either the thermostat or the climate control switch I do not know if your climate control switch is electronic or manual either way I would start out with the cheapest and go with the thermostat first good luck!

Driver side blows cold air. Can't get heater to work. Passenger side OK. What's wrong?

Heater or mode door actuator bad , possibly ! You can look on youtube for videos showing how to change . It can be easy or very hard to replace . You could have it checked for DTC's diagnostic trouble codes stored in the heater control head . dealer only !

1999 cadillac deville d'elegance heater problem

i've been down here too myself, and discovered that the temp control motor, located in the bottom of the glove box, which you can access by clearing all your stuff in in and opening a small door.
you can adjust it manually, and see if it changes, if yes, the switch can be defective, as well as the motor, the switch is the most likely problem.
but adjust it manually first.

Any advise on driver side heated seat not working . . lights for heat control blink but do not stay soild .passanger side works

This is usually a problem with the passenger seat heater control module. It is a common failure on your vehicle. The module is part of the seat cushion.

Just for the heck of it though, check to make sure the wiring to the module under the seat is connected and not loose.

Heater problem on 1995 Olda Aurora

Check the passenger side mode door actuator. This is located under the dash on the passenger side. Once you find it watch the rod as you move the temp lever from hot to cold to see if it moves. If it does make sure that the rod is hooked to the door. If it doesn't the actuator is probably bad or the door is jammed.

2001 Grand Cherokee Heat on one side cold air on the other side?

The blend door on the passenger side has broken. Jeep has made a replacement section for the heater box assembly so you don't have to buy the whole thing. You will need to remove the heater/A/C box to replace the part. I have done quite a few of these repairs to fix the problem

A/C Heater problems

There is a motor that operates a door to change the air temp to the drivers side based on the setting of the temp control, it is called a blend door motor, there is a problem with the motor or the blend door is jammed and can't move.
