Headlamps do not work on low beam and only on high beam when switch pulled on, assume it is a Relay issue?
I would check the headlight bulbs to see if the low filaments might be burned out first. Also check the ground return wire to make sure it is attached securely as well. A simple test light or voltmeter will tell you if voltage is getting to the bulb socket and would be the second thing to check if bulb filaments are okay. If no voltage swap the low beam fuse first- it should be an automatically resettable type of circuit breaker.

Did you check in the engine compartment.
If you go to autozone or advanced auto parts you can get a book for the car for about 15 bucks

The problem is probably your switch assembly on the column. When you pull in to go to brights they go out right? I ahd the same problem and replaced the whole unit on the column.

check fuse under the hood in the main control panel fuse box.

No it is another circuit. Check theat you hav voltage at the high beam relay, in and out. If not you have a wiring problem between ther and the switch.

Headlamp relays are most always in the engine compartment in one of several power distribution boxes. It could be the dimmer switch, DRL module, or both bulbs. This happens because the lights are so bright, one low beam has burned out, and goes unnoticed until the other one burns out also.
Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) use the low beam but at a reduced power, which shortens their working life. Hope this helps.
