I have a 99 crysler concorde and while i am driving it my power windows, signal lights and heat will stop working but once i shut the car off and restart it, it will start working again. over time, it started taking more times of shutting the car off and restarting it in order to get these things to work but now it has stopped working all together. i checked the fuses and they all seem to be in working order. someone told me it might be the computer, anyone else have any other ideas on what it could be? i really dont want to junk this car because other then that it works great .im a single mom and on a limited income so im hoping someone can give me a solution and a cheap fix.
I went to the Concorde forum and saw what other owners said. Captain mody said, "There is a black case in the middle of the upper part that contain fuse #5 red 10amp you need to replace this fuse by another on and after that every thing will work again" Another guy named Chris said: "Open your driver's door and open the fuse box on the left, there's a handle near the door hinge. This is most likely a blown fuse - check the fuse box lid for the diagram. Find out which one is blown and swap it out. Not a $400!!!" SOURCE: the problem i'm having with my concorde is when
You obviously have connection somewhere in your OBDII system that has a intermittent open, short, or short to ground. OBDII is the system that monitor's all emission's "sensors" throughout the car. This is caused by the above wiring snafu or a sensor itself is trying to go out....Think back to previous repairs that have been performed on the car. does anything coinside with your problem? If so, go back to that area and inspect the wiring and such. Say, an intake gasket was changed out,...I would inspect everything around such repair...1. Throttle position sensor, map sensor, Idle control solinoid, intake air sensor, cam sensor, Etc,etc. You see, these sensors are all located on or around your throttle body, which of course is located on your intake. You follow where Im going with this??? the cam sensor is not on your intake, but the wiring harness which houses the wiring for these sensors could very well contain the cam sensor wire as well as others.... Check it out and get back with us......

This sounds like one of those interesting problems. What you are going to have to do is find a light bulb type of electrical tester, and a schematic for the wiring on the car (or get a mechanic to do it). When the problem comes up again, you have to find where the power to the module is not coming through a weak connection. It is something that warms up and then breaks connection.
The first thing to do is change the fuses for the engine controls. Fuses are cheap and sometimes they develop a crack that opens when they see a rise in temperature from a heavy electrical load or warm or cold weather changes. Other things that cause problems are the wires that connect to the battery, and splices in those wires which are usually hidden inside a bundle of wires. Also inspect the connectors that hook up to the engine module and make sure the pins are not pulling out from tension in the wires and other defects.
You said it doesn't turn over, so also check the connections at the starter. Sometimes main power is routed through there.

I had the same issue that has evolved into the car starting and idling for 2-3 seconds then stalling. After doing this five times it won't turn over at all. All the dash lights are on but no turn over. After the car sits for appoximately 15-30 minutes, it starts and runs fine for 3-4 weeks then does it again. I was told this is due to the camshaft and crank position sensors needing replaced.
SOURCE: 04 PT cruiser will not rev above 2500rpm
Yes there is a governor which limits the rpm to 2500 rpm. It ha been limited because beyond this rev, the engine gets overheated and if kept running it that condition would slowly but surely damage the engine badly. Once you have reached the limit naturally your cruise control will stop working since its supposed to maintain that speed, which is not allowed by the governor. This governor can be removed but then you will have to risk damaging your engine fatally........................sodeep
SOURCE: '99 chrysler concorde turn signal lights are not
If the turn signal lights come on but do not flash, the flasher relay is defective. If the lights will not come on, there is a loss of power so check the fuse as you have already done and replace it even if it looks good. See if you have voltage at the fuse.
