Hello i own i 92 prelude bought it used 2 months ago, and my tailights just recently went out but brake lights still work, i looked at fuse box under hood and dont see fuse for "taillights" or anything near that name, there is another fuse box under the steering column but i dont have the cover to tell me what fuse does what, can anyone link me to a fuse box diagram for the box "inside" the car? or at least tell me the fuse number location for taillights so i can tell if fuse is blown? manual does not list what fuses are what just shows a picture, ive tried googling fuse box diagram and even asked junkyard stores around me for preludes in lot and got nothing so far.
SOURCE: Brake lights dont work
Check if you have electrical current at brake light switch. If not go back to checking the fuses and plugs.
SOURCE: dont know which fuse is for what because there is no diagram
There is a fuse box diagram (or should be anyway) in your car manual (the one that is usually found in the glove box). If it's not there, I suggest doing a google image search. Good luck!

The manual indicates Fuse 11 (10A) interior fuse box, INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS.
Also, the is a dimmer for them:
The dial on the dashboard to the left of the instrument panel controls the brightness of the instrument panel lights. Turn the dial to adjust the brightness.
To reduce glare at night, the fuel and temperature gauges dim when you turn on the parking lights or headlights. You then adjust their brightness when you adjust the instrument panel brightness. Turn the dial up as far as it will go to return the fuel and temperature gauges to their daytime brightness.
You can try the following URL for a copy of your manual (which includes fuse box diagrams). You won't be able to save the whole thing (except by sections), but you can print copies of whatever sections are important to you. You'll need Adobe reader (free from Adobe) to read the manual.

Hope this helps you.

yeah was thinking if someone who owns a 92 prelude would know :)
We have no manuals here, so unless an expert has a honda we have no way to give this info to you, sorry.
