Question about Ford Mustang
After i there was a heavy rain in sacramento california, the following evening my headlights wouldn't turn on. the fog lights work fine, but not the headlights. Astonishingly , the next evening while driving on the highway at dusk, the lights all of a sudden turned on and worked fine for a couple weeks. Then it rained again. Lights haven't worked since.
Sounds as though you have an exposed electrical connection that's either getting splashed from the tires, or the moisture is creating a temporary disconnection. This can happen, but once it dries it will resume working. I would have your electrical system checked. I would also have your headlight switch checked for a possible short.

next time it does this, try spraying wD40 on the distributor, all around it. if this fixes it, you have a crack in the distributor cover. just replace it. good luck
