The turn signals and the emergency flasher are controled by a single electronic flasher unit. It looks like an electronic relay and is located on the far left underside of the dash. It is on a mounting bracket and has a three wire connector. If you do not hear this clicking when you use the turn signals or the emergency flasher it may be bad. Just remove the connector and remove the one screw holding the flasher to the bracket. Be sure the replacement is identical to the old one and compare them before installing the new one.

You may want to also check the turn signal bulbs also. Other causes would be bad signal and flasher switches, bad bulb connectors, and opens or shorts in the wiring.

It might be the turn signal switch itself. i had this problem. i turned on the flashes and all the lights went out. maybe see if the switch is broken on the inside of the steering column.

All my turn signals stopped working on my 96 GMC Jimmy. Fuses are ok.

Check the flasher under the dash. They are around $10 at an auto parts store.

96 Ford Taurus no turn signals or hazards

Take the turn signal lever and jiggle it, a lot. If they start working, the switch is bad. You can also turn on the hazards and take hold of the button and push it left , right , forward and back and see if they start working. If so, replace the turn signal/ hazard switch.

Turn signals won't come on.

I would have to say that it is your turn signal switch in the column. You will have to take the steering column apart and replace it.
