Car alarm goeoss car will not start

On my 2203 Hyundai Elantra, the car alarm gos off and the car will not start or even turn over, The key fob transmitter is lost and I want to know how I can start the car without it.
*I have been told there is a "valet mode" where there is a button or something u do to enable the car to start, overriding the security system.
Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Have heard that putting key into ignition in 'on' position and waiting sixty seconds for alarm to go off, then turning key off and back on will disable alarm. Haven't tried it yet.

    stupidest design ever.

Can a remote start be installed in a car with NO KEYLESS ENTRY? no alarm system...just a key to open doors

Yes. After market remote start kits don't care about keyless entry or alarm systems. You will get a separate key fob to operate the remote starter.

2004 Hyundai Elantra won't start, emergency flashers keep blinking, can't shut off, lights dim, can't jump start, clicking from under dash from relays. What could it be?

The 'Keyless Entry & Burglar Alarm System" is activated. You must 'Disarm' the system using the Keyless Entry Remove (Key Fob) to "Reset" the system. The reason the engine won't start is due to the burglar alarm - it has a "Starter Kill" circuit which is activated when the alarm is activated. The alarm must be DEactivated to DEactivate the 'Starter Kill' circuit.
Another way to start the engine is to get in the car, put the key in the ignition and turn it to 'ON" and wait 3 to 5 minutes until the emergency flashers stop/turn off. Afterward, you should be able to start the engine. NOTE: This does NOT reset the burglar alarm. It will go off again when you enter the vehicle without using the remote/key fob.

Just changed battery in 2003 hundai elantra. alarm goes on when key turned. car won't start. alarm remote fob won't unlock doors

their is no doubt some way to reset it by turning the key so many times left and right ?? but try this ,and that put key in drivers side lock and lock and open three times slowly then open door on last attempt and try to start within 15 secs of opening the door lock ,also try the spare key in case the chip has fallen out of the key ??

2000 hyundai elantra alarm goes off where is the

There is NO kill switch on the 2000 Elantra... HOWEVER, there is a thing called the Key Fob (keyless remote entry system). There is, however, a system in place called the 'starter kill' circuit and it is activated when the burglar alarm goes off.... it's called the burglar alarm relay and it is activated to prevent the engine starter system from being used. There are three ways to get the engine started in such a circumstance... 1. use the key fob to 'disarm' the system... 2. put the key in the ignition and turn it to the 'RUN" position and wait until the alarm stops (horn stops beeping and the parking lights stop flashing), then the engine will start.... 3. pull the starter relay from the UnderHood junction box and bypass the starter circuit (key in ignition and in the 'RUN' position), jumper the starter solenoid circuit to energize the solenoid to start cranking the engine -- it should start then.

Hi, i had this problem with my 96 model.. i let the battery go flat, then recharged it.

Although disconnecting the battery my work.

Assuming that the batteries dont need replacing in the fobs.
