Check you throttle position sensor first then fuel pressure regulator, then fuel pump. i have a 92 and had to recently do a massive overhaul. my rough idle was caused by a malfunctioning tps with a small exaust leak causing it to race and an intake manifold gasket. also check your idle speed adjustment settings.

The reason for the problem can be faulty fuel injectors,
clogged air filter, faulty ignition coil, and many more or none of these. These
are just assumptions for the problem. The real problem may be something else,
so I would suggest you to get your ride checked for the error code and then
update your answer indicating error code.
symtoms of a bad coolant sensor: poor car idle, rich mixture, retarded timing, slow idle speed, cold hesitation or stumble, poor fuel milage, check and make sure air filter is clean. and check plugs and wires if need be,
change plug and wire if its been a while most cars have 90000 miles platinum plugs in them.but the wires wear before plugs.so change plugs and wires.+clean fuel injectors .change fuel filter and air filter.if car still run rough your idling to low.have idling check .
