If you added any accessories to your car, such as a dvd or car starter, then your circuit could be overloaded. Make sure you put the correct amperage fuse in your fusebox.

SOURCE: continuos blowing 15 amp fuse

what is that fuse for? you might get away with using a 20amp fuse but it is strongly not advised. there is most likely a short in one of the systems fed by that fuse causing it to blow repeatedly. this must be corrected. swapping out the 15 amp for a 20 amp may causes damage to another component being fed by that fuse

SOURCE: cold start problem on ml270

Hello,
I had a similar problem. Would take 5-6 attempts to start of a morning when cold. It was caused by air in the fuel lines. Once the fuel line seals were replaced problem went away.

SOURCE: Can you tell me where the fuse for the break

open the burnet of your car and you will see a big black box on the driver side of your car engine, open it and there you will find the fuse.

I have a Mercedes a160 2003, the brake light fuse keeps blowing. I have changed the brake pedal switch. the abs,bas lights comes on and vehicle goes in limp mode . please advise

Have you checked the basics, like rear lamp connections, wiring to the lamps, whether the correct bulbs have been fitted to the brake lights, don't forget to check the high level brake light and the wiring to it ( check condition of wiring on tailgate hinge ) if central locking or rear wiper also has a problem the chances are your fault lies with the wiring on the t/gate hinge area, Regards Mike

Can't believe FORD would just replace the fuse an send you on your way ! You must have not wanted work done they suggested . Cost too much for diagnostic's ! Because I work at a ford dealer , you have a short to ground somewhere in the insturment cluster or wiring .Why didn't you have them fix it ? An what is it you want to know ?

Brake Light Fuse & Gas Gauge

Start by replacing your brake light bulbs. If it still blows the fuse, them your brake pedal switch. If it still happens then you have a shot circuit in your wiring between your fuse panel and your brake lights.

Warning Light on Mercedes ML270

Hi,

To my understanding:
BAS ESP - Electronic Stability Program (keeps you moving in the direction you intended the vehicle to go); probably a faulty brake switch or a bad brake sensor. You may want to reference this forum for additional insights;
ETS - Electronic Traction System (keeps you moving); would require an appropriate code reader to diagnose and pinpoint problem.Surprisingly, there has been some reports of defective brake pedal switch that activates this warning. You may lilkewise want to reference this forum for additional insights.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
