Driver side window will not go down.

There is an audible click noise (sounds like a relay) when the button is pushed up or down. No movement of the widow though. All others work fine. No previous issues with this window.

it sounds like the window regulator may be bad. I would recommend removing and inspecting the regulator and motor. Also, before you remove the regulator, you can inspect the plastic retainers that hold the glass to the regulator. the retainers can be replaced without having to remove the regulator itself.

SOURCE: driver window won't go down. All other windows

It's probably the switch itself and needs to be replaced.

Honda Passport 2000 - none of the windows rolling

Sounds to me like you have a bad power window relay. Start by checking the power supply to the relay. Should the relay be bad replace and the window movement should be restored. If this doesn't take care of the problem you may need to replace the master switch in the driver door. The master switch allows all the other switches to do their job. If it malfunctions none of the windows will work. Hope this info helps, good luck!!!

2005 POntiac Grand Prix-All windows not working

Under the Hood there is a Fuse Relay Box that has Relays in it. There is a Relay in this for the Windows. Replace this Relay. If that does not work it very well could be the Motor on the door Making the Noise and you will need to replace the motor.

Driver window will not work

The black boxes inside the fuse box are indeed relays, which will make a clicking noise. The window buttons are merely contact switches, and if they quit operating properly, the window simply won't do anything, but I've never heard any noises come from one when it quit working. The relays can easily be replaced by hand, so go to a local auto parts store to see about purchasing one, and ask them to show you on their computer screen exactly which relay in your fuse panel is the one that controls the window circuits, and replace it yourself. It's very simple.
