Metallic hum noise when turning

Hello. I have an 05Odyssey with 47,000 miles. Noise started 3k miles ago, only whenturning hard and either braking or not. Lately, it's happening onslight turns as well from rear of van.

Took it to the dealer and they said they're aware of problem. (They'veput new shoes, pads, cables on other vehicles and the noise still comesback.) They think it could be brake rotor "flex." I spent 125.00 withno guarantees to clean shoes, pads, adjust parking brake calbles andlube up everything.
Heard noise on the way home.

Weird how this only started happening after 3 years and 40 some oddthousand miles. I'm thinking their must be a fix. But does that entailreplacing the entire brake assembly? Put a call into American Hondawith my concerns and they notated it.

What can be the humming noise on the front brakes when i try to brake ,it makes the brakes feel spungy

This is dependent on what type of brake pads you had or installed on your vehicle. Sounds to me that they put cheap metallic brake pads instead of simi metallic or your best bet is ceramic pads. Hope this helps you.

When i press on brakes i can hear a grinding noise coming from he front end, what could it be?

Brake pads are worn. That noise is the sound of the backing plate for the brake pads hitting the rotors. You will need to replace the pads and probablt the rotors. When the brakes go metal to metal like that it typically destroys the rotor.

Rear driver wheel has light reubbing noise when car in motion goes away when brakes are engaged. Is this brakes or barrings problem? Cost of repair?

hi this sounds like your brake pads have worn, or the brake shoes as well, if you have drum brakes on the back it will be shoes, if disk brakes will be pads+shoes (inside the disk) if it was the wheel bearing you would hear a loud humming noise not rubbing noise, is it a metallic rubbing noise or a rubber squeaking rubbing noise? just check condition of tyre on back if it is the squeaking rubber noise cost will depend on where you take it and if you do it yourself, possibly $40 to $50 at a garage/auto shop or possibly $20 to $30 if you do it yourself, this just depends ...hope this helps

Screeching noise coming from driver side tire

The high pitch sound may come from the brake pads as metal parts hit the disc to signal the owner that it needs change. The metal parts gets exposed when the pads have worn out. The brake also has a hub to cover the disc. See if the metal plate is hitting it but this issue would appear when the wheels are in motion. Check if it is the belts, have the tension checked out. Other than that the bearings are the other items on your wheel that could cause a high pitched sound when you car is in motion.

OCCASIONAL Metallic scraping noise - New ceramic brake pads.

You could be right with the wheel bearings. But first take the wheel off and check that nothing is scraping the rotor. Look all the way around the rotor. A suggestion will be that the brake pads have worn enough that the brake pad wear indicator is starting to scrape. Pry them back a little.
