Would first start by having the freon pressures checked to ensure the proper amount of freon was in the system, if any at all. If system is low or empty, a leak is present. If system is low, ultra-violet dye would need to be injected into the system along with freon and run the system, checking with a black light to find the leak.
SOURCE: Air conditioner is not blowing cold air,
What pressure did you have? And Is the front of the compressor turning when you have this pressure. Also feel the two lines going to the compressor, one should be hot and one should be cold.
SOURCE: Cracked tail light, air-conditioner not cold.
Well you can replace the tail light yourself, check online for inexpensive ones or your local salvage yards. You should be able to get one for less than 50 bucks in new or very good condition. Maybe even less at a salvage yard. Before you spend bucks on the A/C, first try and charge with some 134a from your local auto part shop. I would recommend getting a service manual, very handy when performing maintenance and repairs like these. Cheap one here
