Could be the Sensor wasn't the problem

You could have a dirty MAF Sensor--Clean it

Have the intake,exhaust,egr & evap --smoke tested for
vacuum leaks

Check wiring for connection issues,corrosion,etc

I would have scoped the old sensor, as the code was
for switching time- slow response

I would also look at fuel pressure & fuel trim with
scan tool.

You could have a failed exhaust converter,that is what
the sensor is looking at,exhaust going in to it or oxygen
content to report back to PCM

You can get several codes for one sensor at one time or
more than one sensor at one time

Need to develop you own approach to trouble shooting
things

The more knowledge & especially the best of professional
toys is the way to go


There is no reason for a repair shop to do that to you,
but then again, we have a few thousands souls here every
week screwed over,that's why their here

after u had it jumped u drove it to the zone so the alternator was workin--it seems like the regulator is not functionin to charge batt--theres somethin goin on in the electrics thats frying ur reg these new cars r very complex--do a scan to see any bad codes and a harness wire chec may be helpful

check wiring in door hindge area for breaks move around loom while listening to radio to hear if speakers start to crackle or work

just turn of the wiper switch turn off the key 30 sec later, move the wiper arm to the park position, then remove the caps plastic caps at the start off the wiper arm ( if fitted) and then tigthen the nut there and that should fi it

there is a 15 amp fuse for the rear wiper under the bonnet check this, also i think the accent has a seperste switch in the dashboard for the rear wiper like th hyundai coupe.

Take it to a shop that can read the codes from the computer. It's called an OBD scan. As for the oil problem there is only 2 ways it can be leaving the engine. 1 is that it's being burned which is will have blueish smoke coming from the exhaust. 2 is a leak. I always try to park on some clean cardboard and that makes it easy to see the drops. If it doesn't leak while just sitting there have it run for 15mins while on the cardboard. Oh and 3 someones letting it out. Do you have any enemies?

BAD SENSOR, OR WIRE CONTACTING THE MOTOR, DO A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE BATTERY AND SPARK PLUG WIRES

I think this is the O2 sensor - It will run fine but you might notice your gas mileage slipping and will not pass emissions.
