THE HVAC SELF CALIBRATION STEPS
ARE THERE TOO, no tools needed.

Depending on the year make and model, you could have vac assist power brakes, and something has happened to the vac source.
The engine vac could be low, or you could have a leak.

no idea without the thing in front of me ,i know iam motor mechanic and not vac man but its mechanical and my big hammer will cure a lot of things

so , reverse the installation. easy huh
why run parts that have no documents.
or google search the www for your make and model, and get lucky.
or remove the old POS and get a new one.

3 choices,,,,,, id get it out.
i run cars that are silent, nobody listens to alarms now.
for immobilizer i run a fuel pump cut. ( a $1 hidden well switch)
(hint: use a magnetic switch that is impossible to find)

consider this, getting stuck on a long trip. and not way to fix it.
consider the future. id never run any car with out the full spec
on the path to starting the car, and driving. not me..

or call them (wild guess at maker) call em . 3003 is very old. and rare based on searches...... not a good thing that...

Big breather from valve cover to air cleaner, the small vac line runs from there to the FPR.



These next are standing in front of the car:

Intake manifold lower outer runs to EZL

Intake manifold lower inner (right side) goes to switchover vac valve on driver fender. The other side of this vac valve goes to the throttle body

Intake manifold lower inner (left side) goes to switchover vac valves on passenger side fender. These then go back to the EGR valve once making a loop under the distributor cap for whatever reason.

Intake manifold rear runs to a 'three' way valve (or 'Y' connector) on the secondary firewall. This is usually a vac leak.

Your cylinders 1-4 passenger side,5-8 drivers side. Firing order is 15426378, looking at engine #1 is at 1 o'clock position, and order goes counter clockwise. The timing varies from year to year - call Ford w/your eng. # for exact timing. To get you in the ballpark,12 degrees BTDc if you have a vac guage, connect to a vac source on intake, crank motor up turn distributor until you get highest vac reading, then back off 3 lbs of vac.

G'day mate , ussually on these latter model cars when the battery is changed you should use a small battery on little leads around 5Volts on the leads to keep the memory called the KAM ( Keep Alive Memory ) going if it has not then the computer may have lost / misplaced it , try the reprograming schedule that should be in the handbook for the remote start if it has one , hope this helps

Check for a vac. leak. First listen for a whistle or a high pitch sound if you have any fix them. You can get a can of carburetor cleaner and spray around the vac, hoses even the big one on the brake booster unit and the back of the master cly.
