My 2006 ford fusion sel v6 is having cylinder misfiring problems the codes it reads out are p0171 p0304 p0305 p0306 and p0300

p0171 is fuel injection system too lean - bank 1
possible causes
- Intake air leaks - Faulty front heated oxygen sensor - Ignition misfiring - Faulty fuel injectors - Exhaust gas leaks - Incorrect fuel pressure - Lack of fuel - Faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor - Incorrect Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose connection
p0304 is cylinder 4 misfire detected.
possible causes
Faulty spark plug 4 - Clogged or faulty fuel injector 4 - Faulty ignition coil 4 - Fuel injector 4 harness is open or shorted - Fuel injector 4 circuit poor electrical connection - Ignition coil 4 harness is open or shorted - Ignition coil 4 circuit poor electrical connection - Insufficient cylinder 4 compression - Incorrect fuel pressure - Intake air leak
p0305 is same as above but cylinder 5.
p0306 is same as above but cylinder 6.
p0300 is random misfire detected
possible cause
Faulty spark plug (s) - Faulty ignition coil (s) - Clogged or faulty fuel injector (s) - Intake air leak - Fuel injectors harness is open or shorted - Fuel Injectors circuit poor electrical connection - Ignition coils harness is open or shorted - Ignition coils circuit poor electrical connection - Insufficient cylinders compression - Incorrect fuel pressure

Causes cylinder misfire

Misfire problems have 3 possible reasons: gas, spark, or a mechanical problem. You have tried to address the gas and ignition problem. If you now do have spark on #7, and the injector is putting gas into the cylinder-you should make sure of this before proceeding-then you may have a valve or cam lobe problem in that cylinder, or even a head gasket leak. A leak-down test will confirm that and indicate the problem. Alternatively, you could have an engine compression test done. Low compression in #7 will confirm the problem, but won't give you any indication of what or which valve may be not sealing.

I had a mechanic come out and work on my Laredo about 8 months ago; it was leaking fluid from the rear main seal. He didn't fix the leak and since then the gear indicator doesn't match up, and I...

I don't know how you thought he could fix that leak when the trans has to come out? Take it to a transmission shop and stop guessing, and replacing perfectly good parts. Have the trans shop replace the rear seal while the trans is out.

I just had my 1990 accords timing belt and water pump changed and now it makes a awful noise like a whirring sound. Could it be a bad install. It didn't make this noise before. So I took it back...

Is it a "reputyable" facility. You have given him one chance to fix it, do some quick research, on-line, or your local BBB. Then if you have evidence of similar "unsatisfactory" repairs, let them know you will be reporting them to the BBB. Also.BEFORE considering it a 'bad' repair; when something oldewr (1990 by your description) has brand new "tight" parts installed, older near by idlers, pulleys, start taking MORE pressure & can fail.

Cylinder 1 and 2 misfire have changed plugs coils ignition module and whole fuel rail and injectors no help pulled upper and lower intakes see nothing realy wrong please help me my name is john hodson from...

Try switching those plug wires with ones that are firing, if the miss fire transfers to those two plugs, then it's the plug wires.
I say that cause you didn't mention anything about changing plug wires. You changed eveything else.
You also didn't mention what engine you have. If cylinders 1 and 2 are adjacent to each other, take a compression test on them, if it's lower than about 150 to 160 psi then the head gasket is blown between those two cylinders.

I have spent about 900 dollars replacing sensors and electronic parts on 93 sc 300 and it is still skipping from flooding

I don't know what you have replaced, but here is a couple of things you can do, if you haven't already done so.
If the skipping is coming from one cylinder, change that fuel injector, the gas could be leaking from around the seals.
If the flooding is in more than one cylinder, have a fuel pressure test done on it. If the pressure is higher than it should be, change the fuel pressure regulator, it's round in shape and mounted on the end of the fuel rail with a small vacuum line attached to it.
I had one that the pressure was high and pushing gas past the seals in the injectors. Hope this helps, but only if you haven't already done these.

I have a 2003 tracker 2.0 liter codes p0304 in it i replaced all plugs & # 4 coil sometimes it works fine & other times it misfires on # 4 misfires at idle & slow speeds but seems to pull fine at highway...

Mary, Sounds like you have a lean missfire issue that may be caused by a dirty injector or possible air or vacuum leak at or near the injector. The injector is seated in a machined hole in the cylinder head or intake manifold. The injector is then sealed in the machined hole using an "O" ring seal to prevent unmetered air from entering the induction system. If the "O" ring is brittle, broken or damaged it will excess air into the system at low speeds and cause a lean fuel missfire to occur. Check to make sure there are no vacuum hoses running to #4 cylinder that are cracked or disconnected. Then
check around the injector base, you can squirt a small amount of carburetor cleaner around the injector base to see if the rough idle problem momentarily stops. If there is no change you may be looking an intermittent injector issue.
Let me know what you find before changing the injector.
Good luck.
