Why does my 2001 buick lesabre blow cold air on passenger side and hot air on drivers side

There should be ( 2 ) slide switches or buttons that control passenger/driver side climate control, one of the switches is not operating correctly and probably be faulty. I have a 1991 Buick Regal with the same problem, sometimes i can slide the faulty one real fast to the right and back to the left and it will work fine.

How can I fix my Air Conditioning it blows cold on driver side but not on passenger side?

I have same problem,add some gas,buy the kit one can could be with seal,works for me.

The AC on my 95 buick regal is blowing hot air on the driver's side but cold air on the passenger side. Any ideas on what the problem might be? I think it may be the driver's side actuator but...

if it is dual zone climate control, then quite possible is the driver's side actuator or blend door.

It needs to be recharged, the compressors are the likely leak on these.

Passenger side vents continually blow cold air, even when calling for hot. Driver side climate control gives what is asked for but hot or cold just blows cold on the passenger side

you need to replace the actuator most likely

96 buick regal, w/dual climate control, w/ac on blows hot air on driver side and cold air on the passenger side

It can be low on freon,or,the actuator motor foor that side blend door is bad,if so,the dash has to be removed to replace the actuator motor.

A/c blows hot air on drivers sde

The actuator door on the driver's side is out of position and needs to be reset. Remove the negative battery cable for 1/2 hour to reset the computer. Start the HVAC system and you should be able to hear the door adjusting itself and cold should come out of the driver's side vent.

The Ac is blowing cold air out the driver's side of the 1999 Buick PA, but was blowing HOT air out of the right two vents. This car ha dual zone settings. The passenger side was set to cold also. Never...

The actuator motor is bad and needs to be replaced for the right side.

I had the same problem when i was working on my 1999 Buick Regal and had to disconnect the battery. I didn't reconnect in the same way that I disconnected the battery from the terminal and noticed that the driver side had no heat or air but the passenger side did. I then disconnected the battery again and reconnected it the same way and now have heat and air on both the driver and passenger side. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

The battery change and the problem, may coindental or maybe not, your air regulator door actuator is probably stripped our just worn out, the regulator is attached to the damper that controls the drivers side air over the two coils. shouldn't be to hard to locate, but will require laying on your back and removing the under dash panel. it will probably be a small rectangular shaped module mount to the duct at a damper door! i hope this helps, if you want exact instructions they can be found at alldatadiy.com for 20 bucks.
