Can u easily siphon gas from a 98 montana? We cant get the rear bolt off thermostat housing to change the thermostat and just filled the tank

Cars and trucks manufactured since the late 70's have anti-siphoning screens at the bottom of the fill tube to the tank. So, sorry to say, no you can't siphon this new gas. I can truly commiserate with you as it's happened more than once. I've just filled my tank and the vehicle bites the big one. The only way to get to that gas is to drop the tank.

Need to see a image of how plug wires go on a 1992 oldsmobile 88 royale

Intake manifold normally has firing order cast in, or get a shop manual. The hard part can be finding which should be #1, especially if you have had the distributor removed. Use compression gauge to find TDC compression stroke on #1 and see where rotor is pointing.

Got a 1990 oldmobile 98 car idle but when I put in gear it turns off

If you can't keep it running by pushing on the gas pedal, chances are the torque converter is faulty.

The idle runs too high on my 1994 oldmobile 88 royal.

You might take a close look at all your vacuum hoses for a leak or crack. This problem will cause the RPM s to run high.

well first of all, it's a good thing you're draining it, because there's rust in your gas tank. Second, you're going to have to siphon the gas out, and third, use a proper technique, because i doubt that gas is too tasty
