Why have I no radio reception on peugeot 307?

I have no radio reception whatsoever on my peugeot 307 car radio. Cd player works and sounds fine. Checked ariel connection and that seems to be ok.

Go step by step to find the fault.
check antenna connection behind the radio
check roof aerial and wire connection underneath it.
Take an old radio's antenna and connect it to your car's radio antenna input and check whether your car radio is working properly.

SOURCE: multiscreen display on my peugeot 307 has gone off

In my 307 there are three small lightbulbs at the back of the display.
Just push the top of the display upward with some force and it will disengage. The lights have a square coned back, turn them a quarter anti clockwise to loosen and the other way around to fasten.
I have only one of the three left so there is very little light in my display. I will see my dealer tomorrow and ask for three new bulbs, I reckon that my heart will miss a beat when I hear the price ...

peugeot and citreon cars do bite high generaly, it is hydaulic there is no adjustment. but it also depends on how high it is ?? does it slip if you slightly rest your foot on whilst driving?? they do have a problem with the bearings going through the cover as it is the same bearing as a HDI . but you woud notice this as a different problem. ie noise or vibration on pedal. call me for more info .. paul @ the clutch centre..01527 64440 07790438337

Cd player work but no radio

Assuming the vehicles antenna is intact and in one piece, check the antenna connection behind the radio. If the antenna is connected behind the radio, there could possibly be a problem with the radio's tuner (internally). The only way to properly diagnose this problem is to place a radio that is known to work into the vehicle (simply to test) and check the radio reception. If the radio reception is improved and working, you know the problem lies within the radio itself.

If it still does not work, there is a problem with the antenna on the vehicle (disconnected, damaged, cut, etc.)

My Peugeot 307 stalled, it no longer displays mpg and the button at the end of the wiper stalk now only toggles between Radio and CD. How do I reset this, and get back the mpg display?

Why has the cd player has stopped working,it only goes from tape to radio and back again.

Do you have a digital display? Are there any lights on the player to tell you it is playing? Have you tried to open the CD drawer? There might be a button on it, so you can put a CD in it. I suggest you try to put a CD in it, because it might play automatically when you insert a disc. If that doesn't work, come back and let us know.

It means that radio wasn't coded to you car - you'll have to visit a dealer or someone with peugeot planet (or diagbox) interface, and have your car's VIN coded into your radio.
