this code relates to monitoring the ECU self test , meaning it was'nt completed , have the code cleared , are there any problems with the vehicles performance or just the CEL on ? follow this link and you can run the self test your self to see if that sorts the prob Jaguar Type Instrument Cluster Diagnostic codes
p0193 sounds like a ip sensor circuit malfunction the p1111 is system check has been completed p1000 system check is not completed..that number will check from 1000 to 1111 when the car has ran a complete self check of itself.
the p1000 is a system readiness code meaning the car is checking itself..it means its not finished etc but once it has the code will change to p1111..meaning system check completed, the c1165 is a abs or wheel speed code, check the wheel where this code is originating
The P1111 unlike the P1000- the P1111 means the ECM has completed a drive cycle with no faults stored. The P1000 means the ECM has not yet completed the drive cycle. They are basicly drive cycle readiness codes doing a system check...this is a natural code..not to worry its checking the car all over between drive cycles for any malfunctions.. sorry i missed u online but the code is nothing to worry about...
P1000OBD (On Board Diagnostic) Systems Readiness Test Not Complete.. Retest the vehicle and if there is something wrong with it, you will get another code. If the system is good then you will receive P1111 System Pass.
P1000 JAGUAR - On Board Diagnostic System Readiness Test Not Complete, this is known as the OBD2 drive cycle.
- The vehicle is new from the factory. - Battery or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) had recently been disconnected. - An OBD monitor failure occurred before completion of an OBD drive cycle. - PCM Detected Trouble Codes (DTC) have recently been cleared with a scan tool. When is the code detected?
If DTC P1000 is triggered after DTCs have been cleared, all engine management OBD diagnostic monitor drive cycles have not been cleared.
P1000 JAGUAR Description
The On Board Diagnostic (OBD) monitors are performed during the OBD Drive Cycle. P1000 is stored in continuous memory if any of the OBD monitors do not carry out their full diagnostic check.
If the Dianosis test Code P1000 is flagged after DTCs have been cleared, all engine management OBD diagnostic monitor drive cycles HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLETED. See http://www.bluejag.co.uk for further details on this
