Rear hatch will only open with key, then will power open the rest of the way, but will not power close and lock must be done manually. Purchased a new lock/solenoid but it still would not respond to the fob command to unlock and open. Now Iam out $200.00 for special order can't be returned.
Do you know about body electronic's ? BCM - body control modules , power lift gate module , serial data communication networks for the modules to talk to each other , send commands , share info, etc.... You should have taken it to a qualified repair shop. Hooking up a factory or professional type scanner to check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes an view rear hatch sensor data parameters should have been done before replacing any parts that your not totally sure will fix the problem . Testing an not guessing .

There should be a manual shut off switch for the doors. shut off the power to the doors then manual open it. you should be able to overcome any debris in the track. then you can clean it out. it the door is locked and won't unlock, the fuel door may be open or cracked open enough to not allow the door to unlock. there is a lever or switch that prevents the door from opening when the fuel door is open.
