SOURCE: where is the oil filter on the 2009 Toyota corolla

I assume that you have a 1.8 engine. The oil filter is in a round metal housing under the engine; you have to remove the housing to access the cartridge type oil filter; the 1.8s do not have a "spin-on" filter.

SOURCE: 2006 Toyota Corolla Dashboard Lights

If it is not down to your left right beside your pedals, I would take a look in the fuse box under the hood next to your battery. The fuse might be shared with other components, so have good light with you and check them all.

My car wont start. turn the key and nothing happens, all lights work is it the battery

It is a 2009 Model, it can't be a battery problem. Can you turn on head lights and horn at the same time? if you can't then it may be. Since nothing happens, it means there is a problem with the neutral safety switch at your gear shift. Have it check out. ( $40 buck for the part plus labor)

Won't shift out of park

Look to see if the brake lights work. If they do not come on when the brke pedal is depressed, the fuse may be blown. The brake electrical circuit also controls the shift interlock. You can take the vehicle out of park manually by removing the small square trim tab by the shifter, and pressing the button under it.
