Hi,
I have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder XE. I wish to purchase an oil pan pad heater and need to find out the oil capacity of the pan. Appreciate if you could let me know the capacity or how to find out.
Thanks.

It could be the oil pan gasket, or, as it was in my case, the oil pan on my 2005 Pathfinder actually rusted through. There were very tiny pinholes in the metal pan. It was not horrible to replace the pan myself.

all trans. take dex 2 or dex 3 with your nissan being a 95 i would say dex 3 my friend. dextron 3 is like dot 3 brake fluid it mixes with all fluids of its class.
Hi! What I've done in the past is purchase two 5 litre containers of the correct grade oil then carefully topped up until just showng below Max level on dipstick I run the car briefly to check for leaks and to fill up new oil filter I let it settle on level ground with engine switched off then top up slowly to correct level, Oh I think you'll find 6 litres is the Norm!

Many cars require that you push the brake pedal before it will turn the starter. Keep brake pedal pressed. then try to start. If it still does not start, this still could be the problem. When the break pedal is pressed a switch is clicked on. It could be that the switch is bad.
Sorry it's 1995 Nissan Pathfinder XE-V6. Does that change the capacity?
