Suddenly the car started making noise and the wheel became extremely hard to turn. I checked power steering fluid level looks OK (not sure if I checked right place: right side in front of engine black reservoir. Cup sign "ATF only"
It would be helpfull if I could find picture of it some where)
Under car I found leak, but leak from passenger side and
its hard to say if this is ATF or not , I did not touch car for
24 hours and leak dry out, no ATF smell. I dont know where leak came from, if it would be hole in the hose the ATF level would be low. If it's pump problem, why would car have a leak? Please help me! Thank you very much.
Is the belt on the power steering pump tight or loose does the pump makes a huming noise when turning steering all these are causes of hard to turn steering belt need to be (tight) on pump and pump must not be huming when turning steering add fluid if needed and play with steering to see if help if not need to replace pump
