Cranks won,t start 1999 saturn sl

Put my snapon solis to trouble shoot went to data screen rpm reading 61 rpm and car is not cranking even with crank sensor disconnected no reading from tach replaced module fuel pump and related relays car has a lot of miles did a compression test cyl1 110psi cyl2 75psi cyl3 50psi cyl4 50psi

    Car will start for a month then crank and not start for a week then start up again for another month keeps repeating

Not enough compression needs around 150 each those are known for head gasket problems

The O2 sensor would have no effect on the engine starting.
And if it cranks it turns over, just may not start.
Have you checked for spark at the plugs, and fuel pressure at the injectors ?
Do you have normal compression when the engine is cranked ?

Done cars have a kill switch if they are low on oil. Check your oil. If the oil is good, it may be the ignition switch.

If the engine fires up for a second or two with starting fluid then the fuel pump is weak.I would check the fuel pressure and if its not within the specs then replace the pump and filter.

My parked my 2002 Saturn SL2 and it will not start? Turns over fine but will not start. Is ther a switch that could have accidentally tripped or something else?
you should check to make sure its getting fuel there will be a pressure switch around the intake of the car it will look like a valve stem on a car tire if its gettin fuel the you should check to see if its firing

I have a 97 Saturn SL1, engine will crank but wont start. My friend said its not the coil, but a crankcase Position Sensor. What do you think?
you can get the resistance values of the coils and crank sensors and check them with a ohm meter . you can google the values and someone will have them . or you can have it put on a scanner and check live data or put on a scope and check it against a good known pattern.

i have found on that car if the temp sensor is unpluged or is bad oddly enough it wont let the car start you should check it and or replace it
