2002 Chevy Silverado starts but then sputters and stalls

I'm thinking it is the fuel pump but not sure.

i had the same problem with my 1995 silverado..it would start and run, but if you put it in gear it would **** out. i replaced the fuel pump which is in the fuel tank(someones brilliant idea) and my problems are gone.

Change your fuel pump out (conveniently located in the fuel tank). i had the same problem on 1995 silverado and the problem is gone.

2002 chevy suburban stalled and won't start now

Check that you are getting fuel. It sounds like the fuel pump is bad.

2002 CHEVY VENTURE, ran through standing water, now it starts, sputters, and stalls.

I think you should head to a mechanic. Sounds like you got water in the fuel system. You could possibly resolve the issue by filling up with a fresh tank of gas, but that could also cause more problems if there is a lot of water in there already. I'd take it to a trusted mechanic.

2002 Chevy Tahoe sputters and stalls out while driving.....

Fuel filter. Timing/timing chain. Idle air control valve. Idle sensor. Vacuum leak. Probably one of the above, but the filter is cheapest place to start. Change your air filter too, if you haven't for a while.
