SOURCE: Can not find where to check transmission fluid

That's because there isn't one, only automatics have a dipstick. Manuals have a fill port located on the side of the transmission if you loosen it and gear oil (not the same thing as automatic transmission fluid) drips out or is level with the hole it's full if not it needs more. Most oil change places will check it for a couple bucks, unless you have a lift it's not easy to get to.

SOURCE: how do you change the manual transmission fluid in

Hello,

In a manual car you do not change or flush the transmission fluid. the only fluid you change is the gear oil for the clutch. The manual transmissions do not have the ability to be flushed or changed as it does not have the same internals as an automatic transmission

Cheers!

SOURCE: how to check manual transmission fluid level on

oh the side of your transmission, above the halfway point, there will be a plug that you can open. (don't open the plug on the bottom of the transmission as that's the drain plug). When you open the plug, some fluid should leak out meaning it's at the right level. If nothing leaks out, pour some fluid in until it starts to run out and then replace the plug.

If i fill the Transmission Fluid will the Reverse work afain?

Check the fluid when it is warmed up. If it is VERY low, like half an inch below the minimum mark, adding fluid might help, but if it is that low your transmission may have further damage.

Reverse lights don't work on a 2007 chevy aveo

Check reverse light circuit, possible switch on transmission or burned-out bulbs. Is there power to the bulb socket when the key is on and trans in reverse? Use a test light to check for power at the connector.

I have a 2005 chevy aveo 5 speed that I just tuned up and changed the battery but the motor just spins and will not crank

This is trouble shotting - You are saying that when you turn on the car with the key to the ignition that the engine motor starts up but when you put the transmission into the first gear that your car is not going forward which tells me that your problem happens to be in your transmission linkages. You can check the transmission fluids to see if it has any fluids when your car running and is hot enough to check the fluids.

Chevy aveo 2007 5door, shift handle feels lose, car goes

if its a 5 speed, yes the shifting is loser than normal cars. the reverse is all jacked up.. if its anything like my 06 aveo when you shift into reverse you have to lift the little circle thing on your shifter up ad act like your putting it into first.. If it grinds try doing it slower. I HATE this transmission. Chevy did a horrible job on picking it. I always grind reverse no matter what

Where do you add transmission oil to a 2006 chevy aveo

you would add transmission fluid directly into the dipstick tube. this would require the use of a transmission funnel to slide into the tube.

Chevy Aveo Manual transmission fluid

Keith, Searched the net on this, a little confusion on this one and not a lot out there. The pan/ diff. cover has to be removed or at least loosened some to change the fluid. Check the attached link, instruction and guide, Good luck
