Hey - i had a flat battery on my 2003 outlander and i got it sorted, however the cd needs a code to re-start. I dont have a code and also, the stereo in my car - a mitsubishi 6 stacker, is not one of the 4 models shown in the stereo handbook.

I think you could use this manual method instead.. My nephew who is a full time mechanic uses it
most of the times, and all mechanics

I have 150,000 miles, no problems. I think a front CV or bearing in in need of replacement. I have replaced the front brakes and rotors. Great on the highway.. 20MPG on the freeway..

If the car stereo is stock then contact the car company for codes...if its not then contact the stereo company....

Check the IAC valve...or sometimes known as an electronic choke. That valve is how your engine gets air when the throttle body plate is closed. If the valve is stuck due to malfunction or carbon build up then it will cause that problem, and give you a rough idle at best.
