This is a crate motor replacement. The one I took out had a rod knock. Ran great for a couple of weeks then one morning... "no Start". has spark and Fuel. o injector pulse. Has Bat. + with key on When I put the test light to the Neg. side and crank engine I get oner dim flash and then nothing more.
1968 ? Did you put OEM or aftermarket, like a Holley injection ?
Double check your grounds for your injectors and also your engine main ground. Take the ground apart clean and reseat. Sometimes that will help, sometimes not. Also check for any broken wires/pins/terminals too! Good luck!

Check for fuses/power/ground to the engine computer (or injector drive computer) whatever the case is.
Spark, fuel pump, and starter all are independant of the fuel injection computer.
Either the computer itself has gone bad, or it is not receiving power or ground, or wiring to the injectors might be bad...

injector pulse is just controlled by the ecm or computer as some would say,u said u replaced wires? did u have a fire or melt wires? ecm is known to go bad on these,had a few of these trucks back in the day.
