You might want to check for a mouse nest under the Underhood fuse block, seen them chew up wiring under there many times.

Sounds like a simple fuse problem. Try checking and replacing fuses inside the truck and under the hood as well. check them ALL, as some fuses say they control one thing, but end up controlling more than a few :)

There are to many things that can cause this problem, best thing to is go get the ECM scanned for DTC codes at a transmission shop or Auto zone or Parts Source since they scan for free.
The ECM should have DTC code in it's memory on how the transmission is Performing and have the Transmission line tested for Fluid pressure.
Good luck and hope this helps. Oh and also ways check with more then on transmission shop if there tell you that you need a new Transmission,
It could be a simple as the transmission filter falling off causing the lost of transmission fluid pressure. Check the transmission fluid too.

02 trailblazer code p0740 , P0753, P0758, P0785, P1860 transmission codes what and where are the fuses to check?

You will have to pull the transmission fluid pan off and change the automatic transmission shift solenoids change both 1-2 and 2-3 shift solenoids you also need to change out the torque converter clutch solenoid. it is spring-loaded watch the shift valve when changing the tcc solenoid and pull your dipstick out before putting the pan back on makes it easier make sure to reset codes on the computer after you are done.

Sluggish Transmission on 1997 Chevy S-10

Here's the information on your trouble codes (which explains the problem you're having).

P0740 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfunction
P0753 Shift Solenoid A Electrical
P0758 Shift Solenoid B Electrical
P0785 Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction
P1860 TCC PWM Solenoid circuit electrical

The good news is that it is an electrical problem rather than a mechanical problem. So, you should be able to get the problem taken care of without removing the transmission. The bad news is, you'll probably have to take it to a tranny shop to get the electrical bug worked out (unless you have the knowledge/equipment to test each of the electronic components of the tranny).

Hope this helps and good luck!
